Indian Railways, on Wednesday, launched the new Vikalp scheme to help passengers in waiting list. According to reports, the wait-listed passengers could travel in other trains, including Rajdhani and Shatabdi, on same routes  at regular fares under this scheme. Notably, the accommodation will be confirmed in the next train if the passengers choose Vikalp while reserving tickets.
