In yet another Twist in India's coach selection, the BCCI on Tuesday reportedly denied that former cricketer Ravi Shastri has been appointed as head coach of the Indian cricket team, saying the Cricket Advisory Committee is still deliberating over the issue. This comes after BCCI's Committee of Administrators' Chief Vinod Rai had asked the board to announce the new coach today, with various reputable media sources announcing that BCCI had made Shastri the head coach. Further, reports added that CAC member Sourav Ganguly had expressed surprise at the decision.
