According to reports, Farooq Dar, the Kashmiri man who was tied to a jeep and used as human shield, has revealed that Army Major Leetul Gogoi who had taken the decision was lying to save himself. Notably, Gogoi had defended his actions claiming that he saved many lives without firing a bullet or beating anyone. Notably, the incident took place during Srinagar by-polls.
