Apple’s demands not accepted by government

Commerce and Industry Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has reportedly said that the Centre did not accept the demands made by American technology giant Apple. According to reports, Nirmala made this announcement in Rajya Sabha and also added that Apple India had sought concessions like the exemption of duty on its units, components, equipment and consumables for 15 years.
