Tamil Nadu fisheries minister D Jayakumar has reportedly said that the telecast of DMK veteran leader Durai Murugan's interview in Jaya TV is the proof that the DMK and TTV Dhinakaran have joined hands to attack the state government. Following the demise of former CM J Jayalalithaa, Namadhu MGR (AIADMK mouthpiece) has now become Murasoli (DMK mouthpiece), and Jaya TV has become Kalaignar TV, the minister reportedly charged.

Man self-immolates before AIADMK functionary’s house

According to reports, a man named Thangarasu attempted self-immolation before the house of an AIADMK functionary in Namakkal district. The man reportedly said that Odapalli AIADMK Women’s wing functionary Kalyani cheated an amount of Rs 11 lakh on the promises of a government job. The man has been admitted to Erode government hospital and is severely injured, reports added.

IT raid to completely cleanse Jayalalithaa’s residence: AIADMK MP

Supporter of Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami and AIADMK MP from Ramanathapuram Anwar Raja has reportedly said that the Income Tax raid at the Poes Garden residence of former party chief Jayalalithaa is not to disgrace ‘Amma’, but to cleanse the house where she lived. Earlier, TTV Dhinakaran had alleged that the raids are conducted in an attempt to disgrace the late politician.

AIADMK party supporters taken into custody

Following IT raids in the late Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu J Jayalalithaa’s residence in Poes garden, the supporters of AIADMK, who raised slogans against the raid were reportedly taken into police custody. IT raids at premises of Sasikala’s kin and associates come to end

The Income Tax raids at the premises of sidelined AIADMK general secretary VK Sasikala’s kin and associates have reportedly come to an end on the fifth day. The raids which began on November 9 lasted for five days in 187 places across four states, reports say. Reports further added that the tax officials are now in the process of verifying the documents seized from the raids.

MLAs disqualification: SC refuses to stay enquiry into DMK’s plea

The Supreme Court on Monday reportedly refused to stay the enquiry on the petition by DMK against the disqualification of AIADMK MLAs by speaker Dhanapal from Tamil Nadu Assembly. The top court also adjourned the hearing of the plea by AIADMK’s Semmalai seeking the transfer of all cases related to MLAs disqualification to SC, adding that the Madras High Court will hear all the cases, say reports.

Dindigul Srinivasan goofs up again; calls MGR 'PM'

TN Minister Dindigul Srinivasan almost called AIADMK founder MGR as the Prime Minister. While speaking to the media about MGR centenary function, Srinivasan called MGR as the PM before correcting himself to say “Bharat Ratna Awardee Puratchi Thalaivar MGR”. Notably, Srinivasan had said that Deputy Chief Minister O Panneerselvam traveled to New Delhi to meet Prime Minister "Manmohan Singh" instead of Narendra Modi.

PMK leader Ramadoss has taken to Twitter to troll Tamil Nadu cooperation minister Sellur K Raju over the latter’s advice to spray cow dung to keep away from germs and insects.
