Afghanistan Foreign Minister Salahuddin Rabbani on Tuesday asked the United States to send more forces to counteract Taliban. Currently, 8,400 US troops are deployed in Afghanistan fighting the insurgents. Notably, US General John Nicholson, the top American commander in Afghanistan also echoed the same request in his latest congressional testimony.
