Adityanath’s Hindu Yuva Vahini activists arrested on rape charge

Following a dispute over playing loud music, three activists of the Hindu Yuva Vahini were arrested in Bareilly on charges of gangrape and thrashing a police officer. The organisation was formed by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. The incident took place on Monday night following the dispute between one Deepak and Avinash. Avinash and his friends, who were HYV workers, barged into Deepak's house and allegedly misbehaved with the women. The HVY activists also allegedly beat up a sub-inspector. A case has been filed, and a probe is on.
