Former Australian skipper Ricky Ponting has said that the absence of K L Rahul due to the shoulder injury has played an underappreciated role in Royal Challengers Bangalore's poor performance in the ongoing tenth edition of the Indian Premier League. Pointing out that Rahul and Kohli was a pretty formidable opening pair last year, Ponting said the absence of one of them is a massive loss for the RCB.
