90-km-long human chain protests Belgian nuclear reactors

Demanding the closure of two reactors at Belgium's Tihange and Doel nuclear power stations, over 50,000 protesters formed a 90-km-long human chain around the border triangle of Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands. The protest follows the detection of at least 70 additional cracks and around 300 new flaws in nuclear reactors at the two plants.
