A 70-year-old woman passed away on Wednesday in Rasipuram, Namakkal after allegations suggested the cause of death as sexual assault. According to police, the victim was a beggar and used to take shelter at an abandoned government building in the city. On Wednesday morning, bystanders found the woman lying unconscious and was taken to the Government Hospital in Rasipuram, where injuries found on her body suggested that she could have been sexually abused.
