39 Indians abducted in Iraq could be in jail: Sushma Swaraj

Union foreign minister Sushma Swaraj on Sunday reportedly said the 39 Indian construction workers abducted from Mosul in 2014 are likely in jail at Badush, northwest of Mosul in Iraq. She reportedly met the family members of the abducted workers and expressed hope that the workers would be released soon. Swaraj reportedly said Iraqi foreign minister Ibrahim Al Jaafari is scheduled to visit India on July 24 and could bring more information about the missing men.
