3-D printed ovaries may restore fertility in cancer

The three-dimensional printed organs will now include the implanted ovary structures that can ovulate and may help childhood cancer. According to reports, prosthetic ovaries made of gelatin have allowed mice to conceive and give birth to healthy offspring. The researchers stated that the technology would be soon helpful in humans, by restoring fertility in cancer survivors by which they can produce healthy children.
