About 20,000 doctors in Delhi reportedly went on a mass casual leave on Thursday to show their support for the ongoing doctors protest in Maharashtra. Doctors in Maharashtra are protesting against the spate of assaults on their colleagues by the relatives of deceased patients. The Delhi doctors strike has reportedly postponed 2,000 surgeries.
