In the fire that engulfed London’s Grenfell Tower block on Wednesday, at least 12 people died and 18 are in critical condition, police reportedly said. Police Commander Stuart Cundy reportedly said the number of fatalities is likely to increase. It took hours with more than 200 firefighters, backed up by 40 fire engines, to bring the fire under control.
