Gautham (Vineeth Sreenivasan ), a young businessman, who is to takeover his family business, suffers from memory slips – blame it on his carefree attitude and approach to life. For a life partner, he wants someone who compliments him, rather than who complements him. And, he finds one such person in Nithya (Namitha Pramod).

Because of an unexpected accident, Nithya can't register memories longer than a day. With the help of her personal diary, in which she keeps a record of the day's happenings and future commitments, she manages to live her days.

Doctor John Kuruvilla (Mukesh) says that such love stories might seem beautiful in movies such as '50 First Dates' and 'Ghajini', but isn't practically feasible.

Debutante director Anvar Sadik's Ormayundo Ee Mukham, with an inspired-from-many-romantic-comedies plot, is a feelgood candyfloss love story. However, because it's too beautiful, the movie, at major parts, lacks the possible-in-reality tag.

Also, the script turns too draggy and wandering towards the end – in particular, that sudden death, intended to bring in gloom, seems out of the blue and inconsequential. Despite the cliches, one is forced to admit that the movie has its moments - the ones in which Gautham tries to make himself last in Nithya's memory for more than a day, and the lead pair's attempts to impress the family are enjoyable.

Apoorva (Aju Verghese), a friend of Gautham, and Nitu (Soumya Sadanandan), Nithya's sister, play supporting roles who try to get the lead pair together. Their acts contribute to the humor department. Rohini as Vineeth's mother, and veteran actress Lakshmy deliver neat performances. However, the real showstoppers were Vineeth Sreenivasan and Namitha Pramod – both excelled in their roles.

The standout performer of the movie is DoP Jithu Damodar. His choice of color tones, and camerawork is brilliant. One has to admit that his framing did help in providing the much necessary pleasant feel and shades to the scenes.

Ormayundo Ee Mukham is a classic example of how overdone goodness can become an obstruction to the intended pleasant movie watching experience. With a little down-toned goodness, the movie would have been so much better.
Verdict: A feelgood candyfloss love story that gets too draggy
