The entry of a robot changes the life of the father and son, and how they overcome the situation, is told in a hilarious way by filmmaker Ratheesh Balakrishnan Poduval. The movie was also a satire on many socio-political issues, relating to the caste system prevalent in Kerala.

A new teaser has been launched by the makers of the movie, as part of its success. Soubin and Suraj acted for the second time in ‘Android Kunjappan’ after their critically-acclaimed movie ‘Vikrithi’. Kendy Zirdo, a native from Arunachal Pradesh acted as the girlfriend of Soubin in the movie, as a half-Malayali and Japanase national.

The movie is produced by Santosh. T. Kuruvila under the banner of Moonshot Entertainments. The music of the movie is composed by Biji Bal and the cinematography is done by Sanu John Varughese. The film is distributed through Maxlab release.
