ACTRESS DEATH CONTROVERSY: FRIEND CHARGED WITH CULPABLE HOMICIDE

Popular television host, model, and actress Sonika Chauhan passed away last month, after meeting up with a major car accident. The car was driven by her friend and Bengali actor Vikram Chatterjee.
 

Reportedly, the car had hit the median and climbed over the pavement on Rashbehari Avenue in Kolkata, while both of them were driving back home from a pub. Sonika was pronounced dead when rushed to the hospital, however, Vikram escaped with major injuries.

Now, as per the latest reports, it is said that Vikram has been charged with culpable homicide, not amounting to murder, as he is now believed to have driven the car, under the influence of alcohol. This revelation has taken everyone by shock, and Sonika's parents are said to be extremely upset with Vikram.
