Just a few minutes back, Bollywood star Salman Khan has been found guilty and convicted in the Black Buck Poaching case.
 

As per the latest reports, the Tiger Zinda Hai actor has been sentenced to five years in prison and fined a sum of Rs 10,000 by the Rajasthan High Court. Currently, he is being taken to the Jodhpur Central Jail.

However, reports also state that Salman might file for a bail and come out soon.

Verdict on Salman Khan's poaching case to be announced on 5th April

In 1998, during the shooting of the Bollywood film Hum Saath Saath Hain, Salman Khan had visited Kankani village, near Jodhpur. At this time he was accused of having shot two blackbucks.

The trial has been going on since 1998, and the final decision is to be taken today by a Magistrate's court in Jodhpur. Saif Ali Khan, Tabu, Sonali Bendre and Neelam have also arrived at the court for the pronouncement of the decision, as they were accused of traveling with Salman when the incident took place. 

Salman is facing charges under Section 51 of the Wildlife Protection Act, 1972. Stay tuned for further updates.
