Amy Jackson who had recently completed filming her portions in director Shankar's upcoming magnum opus, 2.0 starring Rajinikanth, has now decided to don a whole new avatar.

She has decided to co-produce a short film along with her friend to create awareness on animal cruelty and how to prevent it. Speaking to media she says, ''We will shoot for the film soon. I will also be a part of it, though I won’t act in the film. I will be speaking about my experience of making the movie. It will have a few real stories. I believe that cruelty to animals is a serious issue and it’s important that it’s discussed more''

Amy has always been a celebrity who takes social causes very seriously, especially animal rights. She has always been on her toes to fight for animal rights, create awareness and collect funds through NGOs. This is a wonderful gesture from the busy and sizzling actress!
