“SUCH ACCREDITATIONS ARE A MORAL BOOST TO DO DIFFERENT MOVIES” - Suseenthiran

Suresh Kumar Nalluswamy rechristened as Suseenthiran, the Vennila Kabbadi Kuzhu fame director, made it a family event. Accompanied by his wife and his cute son, he was having a tough, fun time restricting his son to his lap. The Palani born critically acclaimed director fresh from the success of Pandianadu, was awarded the Best Direction medal for Aadhalal Kaadhal Seiveer (AKS) and Vishal starring Pandianadu in the Behindwoods Gold Summit 2014.

He was glad to receive the honor from T. Shiva of Amma Creations. The teenage love story addressing pre-marital sex in AKS and the action drama Pandianadu, ascertaining father-son relationship intermingled into a revenge story, shows the diversity of the director.

The elated Suseenthiran said, “Aadhalal Kaadhal Seiveer is a very special film to me. This is my first award after 2 long years. Such accreditations give moral boost to keep on trying to do different movies. I am very thankful.”
