Dear readers,

This perhaps could be a (very) late review but I wanted to ensure I am in.

Movie making is no fun and making a movie that everyone loves is spectacular, running that beyond 100 days is massive.

And today Gautham Vasudev Menon has done it.

We cannot forget what VTV has offered us - true love. It is widely said that love is the easiest subject to handle - it also is the most tedious because anyone can tell a love story but not express it, it’s difficult to make the audience feel it. Gautham Vasudev Menon has proved that he has got the power and capability to do that.

Great that he stood out of the blue. What would you say when everyone including you and your girlfriend ask – “Of all the girls in the world why did you choose me to love?” Hats off! Rahman proves he is an Oscar winner.

Crisp and touching dialogues, heartfelt music, fascinating camera work, decent screenplay and perhaps lovely Jessie- together lead to VTV’s grand success.

Before VTV's release, in an interview the director claimed that this story happened to him. And I strongly agree, because we have felt it. There are
Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya
a few and very few people who pick their past into the plots of their movies.

So we have kept our fingers crossed until the director’s next venture. Good luck Gautham!
