Yes ...June is the month, where parents are roaming here and there for admission for their kids in schools and then purchasing books, bags etc...Every parent gets June anxiety Syndrome...

After a long holiday period kids have to enter new classes...Some kids may enjoy new atmosphere and some may miss the holiday euphoria. New teachers, new class rooms and new friends....Every student gets June confusion syndrome...

Come to our cinema, June is the month for big releases for the past few years...Sivaji, Dasavatharam and this year the great Raavanan....

Expectation meter is going high day by day...Awaiting for the release date and awaiting for the advance booking....Usually the story will not be disclosed for any Mani Ratnam movie before...In Raavanan too this is the case. But we may understand some unique features of this film by seeing this films promotional clips and stills...

Unique Features of Ravanan:

[1] The title of the film itself creates eagerness among the people...Raavanan - the negative shade name for the positive shade hero...But nobody knows the hero's or Raavanan's character will be portrayed positively or negatively....Nobody can guess the shape up of Raavanan's character in this film...

[2] This is the first film in which a hero, Vikram [? Villain? Hero ] has acted in contrary roles in two different versions...In Hindi version as Ram and in Tamil version as Raavanan....Nobody in the film industry all over the world may get such a great opportunity other than Vikram...Already a national award winner. Whether he will get award this year too for his performance or his Hindi counterpart will get? ..Both are talented...Vikram deserves a crown for his dual contrary performances.....

[3] Heroine Aishwarya might have worked very hard. Because she should act with Vikram in love scene in Hindi version and with Prithivi Raj in Tamil version ...And again she has to act with Abhishek in Hindi version and the same role she has to share with Vikram in Tamil version...Imagine any actress ever before had such a complicated opportunity like this...?

[4] Promotional strategy of this film is extra ordinary...Never ever seen in any Indian films. Even the audio release shows high expectation which is unusual for a Tamil cinema..

[5] When one sees the stills of this film, he can imagine how it will expand its wings in silver screen. The huge falls, mountain, Vikram's appearance, and Aishwarya's fear in her face - Everything tells crystal clearly about the stupendous efforts of the cast and crew who had involved in Raavanan..

[6] Mani Ratnam himself takes Tamilian's technical skill to national level...With this Raavanan , Mani Ratnam the first Indian who makes PAN INDIA FILM for all Indians...Almost three by fourth of the Indian population may see this film as their native film apart from the movies like Avatar..

[7] Last but not the least. Our great OSCAR winner A.R.Rahman after his huge victory in VTV, once again rendering his world classic music for PAN INDIANS. This must be the CROWN among the unique features of RAAVANAN...

SO THIS YEAR JUNE WILL BE THE "RAAVANAN SYNDROME " FOR TAMIL MOVIE LOVERS MINDSET.......

Expectations are very high...Everybody hopes Raavanan will be the Real Post Summer Treat for Tamil Audience...
