Hi behindwoods visitors and team behind the success of this website...

I thank behindwoods for posting my previous article... I am here with another article to express my thoughts for the film MP which disturbed (disappointed) me a lot...

Director Karu Pazhaniappan (KP) is one of my favorite directors who always don’t miss to deliver a neat family entertainer right from his Parthiban Kanavu days... but this film MP doesn’t carry the MAGIC as the title says...

Before opening the actual reason for my disappointment, let me say the positive aspects that I enjoyed in the movie...

1. Songs - after a gap, I am hearing Vidyasagar's sweet melody songs, and its really a big come
Mandhirapunnagai
back for him... all the songs are apt and meaningful blending well with the story...

2. Characterization - I knew the difficulties KP had doing this film, and why he turned to be the hero of this project, so I would say KP had done a decent job being a fresher in front of the camera and all other including Meenakshi, Santhanam and others have done their role well...

3. Cinematography, Artwork, BGM, Editing etc... Everything was satisfying and apt for the movie...

4. Story and Screenplay 1st half - wow, I thoroughly enjoyed the 1st half, it was such a realistic feel for me and the story was very well travelling on the shoulders of Kadhir (KP's name in the film)...

Now, its time for me to let the cat out, the problematic and important portion of the movie that made me disappointed...

1. Story and Screenplay 2nd half - its a sheer drop down for me seeing the way the film diverted from a complete realistic movie to a total cinematic kind of approach given to the film... I don’t want to say more than this because, i don’t want to let the cat out now... audience please watch it for yourself...

All that I would say to sum up is, the 1st half was really great and realistic, and during interval, I felt that director KP is going to be an eye opener for today's youth's (both men and women) delivering such a great movie, but the way the film diverted totally made me so disappointed with the director... Sivapadhigaram touch is totally missing Mr.KP...

thank you
