I'm a true Rajini fan and this is the first time I'm writing in this column. Lately I have seen most of our friends out there commenting on their dissatisfaction towards Kamalhassan. However, I was triggered to write here after reading a recent column post by a so called thick fan of Rajini, namely Rajinimadasamy.

I am a regular movie goer and appreciates quality movies produced by Kollywood and Kamal's movies are always in my list. Recent news confirmed that Visvaroopam was taken over by Kamal due to dispute with the director Selvaragavan. Kamal has always striven for perfection in his output and his involvement in all part of the movie making has been a norm in the industries. Can anyone imagine Anbe Sivam directed by Sundar C?

However, I do agree that in the recent times, Kamal is not giving importance to his movies. His last best movie that I would pick is Unnaipol Oruvan. Based on Kamal's capability and credibility, fans always expect different themes from him. Fans wanted to see Kamal in different get-ups, mind blowing roles and themes we would never imagine. This is because Kamal himself created this path for him. We would love if Kamal could work back on Marudhanayagam. 

As for Rajini, he always has his on style of film-making. His first priority when he commits to a movie is that it should be refundable and entertaining as he himself told in a interview that he only want rewards not awards. I think his unique path took place during Bashaa period where he decided on movies that he would sign. He will choose the producer, director, music director and etc. This is to make sure that the right team is on board. However, Rajini never interferes into these people's work and makes sure to bring the best out of them. Even when he announces his movie with his team, we are sure its going to rock. Nevertheless, there has been flops too in his list but that never stopped him in any way.

All the young action heroes have followed Rajini's path to hold a stand in Kollywood. Thanks to him that they now realize they should have a unique path for a long stay here.

Am here not to advice who should follow who. Let us all choose their path to keep entertaining us.

Personally, Rajinimadasamy....please don’t cover yourself under a Rajini fan flag and talk bad about out Thalaivar. A true Rajini fan knows him better than you do.
