The
Lal Baugh garden was laid by Haider Ali in
1760.It is originally called Lalbaugh because
the garden had a profession of red roses.
The annual flower, fruit and vegetable shows
are held regularly. A giant Electronic Quartz
flower clock is an additional beauty to the
garden. In the necklace of Bangalore’s
park, Lalbaugh is the pendant and the glass
house in the lalbaugh is a diamond that captures
the eye of the people. A large number of plants
were grown under this structure and is a national
venue for conducting various meetings and
public functions.
