Movie Review : Anbe Aaruyirae

Storyline:
The chronicle is quite different and impressive which is unheard in the Tamil movie industry. The tale goes like this; two lovers get alienated owing to the differences in their opinions. Consequently, how they reunite is told in a special way. The thought, which they had all through their merry time, supports and unites them back. “This first time thoughts has given life”, the director says.

Review

S.J. Surya narrates the anecdote in the beginning and then goes with the movie. That’s his style! In Ah... Aahalso, he has done the same. He appears on the screen with formal dhoti and white shirt, as well as, recites the story and subsequently tells “Come! Let us start”, and the movie launches with the title song. The initiatives given to the movie is simply superb and it is incomparable.

Shiva (S.J.Surya), a press reporter has a girl friend named Madhu (debut actress Nila). No time has been wasted to say how they came across with love. This shows that the director wants to concentrate on the script. Shiva, an energetic person ponders more on his work. But his girl friend, wants him to spend most of the time with her.

Therefore, Madhu decides to work, as a result of that she may possibly reduce the work load of Shiva and both will have as much enough time to spend together. She gets the help of her friend’s brother to assist in starting a restaurant. So, both of them decided to do a joint business. But Shiva recollected the bitter experience his friend had in a joint business and the immoral relation with his associates wife that eventually lead to pregnancy.

Shiva was terrified of this act and feels the same thing may happen to his girl friend, if she involves in a joint business. At first he was reluctant but owing to the pressure created on Shiva by Madhu, he permits her to do joint business. Then onwards he had his own doubts on his buddy and they rivet in a quarrel and separates. The rest of the movie is about how the thoughts and feelings reunite them.

S.J.Surya has performed unbelievably to the maximum on the screen, particularly the scene in which he doubts the relationship of Madhu with her friend The director himself along with Ratna Kumar has penned the dialogue well with spicy flavour as in his previous movie New. But, the screenplay is slow, especially in the second half of the movie.

Nila, as a debut actress has a bright future ahead. Santhanam comes for just few minutes, but entertainment is assured in those few minutes. After a long time, the villain of those days M.N.Nambiar has appeared in a guest role and the character suits him.. Furthermore Urvasi had done a short humorous and amazing role in this movie and she perfectly fits the temperament.

The music composed by
A.R.Rehman has a great welcome among the spectators, specially for the title song. But the background score is nothing special. Vijay Chakarvarthy with his camera has more of shakes in the screen, which could have been reduced. The set designed by Anand Sai has come out very well, in particular the apartment in which they live.
