Dhanush' first film under the Roja Combines banner....

After Dhanush's recent flops, "Devadayai Kanden" is expected to be his come back movie.

This is Dhanush' first movie under the Roja combines banner. Debutant director G.Boopathypandian directs the movie.

The theme of the movie is based on love. It says that one can think for a thousand times before you fall in love. But you must not fall back after you commit yourself to some one. If you fall back in your love, what will happen to the loved one. This is the story of "Devadayai Kanden".

Dhanush stars as a homely boy and a recipient of such incidents in this love story.

He stars as a tea delivery boy, who roams the street in his cycle for his day to day bread. He has done his character exceptionally well. The total costumes used by Dhanush for the movie are seven pants, ten shirts and a slipper.

He has done quite exquisitely in the emotional and sensitive scenes and also done well in the comedy scenes.

Another most impressive acting goes to the heroine of the film Sridevi, who also has excelled in her acting career.

The film is also hyped to have contained the most unique climax scene which has not been shown in the cinema history for the past seventy three years.

The director of the movie G.Boopathypandian has been an associate for Parthiban, director Sundar C, Gokulakrishana etc...

He has also been the dialogue writer for films such as "Pagaivan", "Azagana Naatkal", "Giri" etc...
