Another action genre of Sarath Kumar...

After the hit film "Arasu" starring Sarath Kumar, "Chatrapathy" is the second film in line by J J Good FilmsBabu Raja for Super good films.

The film Starring Sarath Kumar has "Kurumbu" fame Nikitha playing his lady love.

Sarath Kumar stars as a bus driver in this film. But the actual character of Sarath is kept secret for the tenth reel of the film, which savors the climax.

Other cast in the film are "Pithamagan" fame Mahadevan, Vadivelu, Vasu Vikram, Rajesh, Pyramid Natarajan, Madhan Bob, Ilavarasu, Supergood Lakshman, "Maha Nadhi" Shankar, "Alwa" Vasu, Jasper, Adhithya, Saranya, Sabeetha Anand and more.

The highlights of the film are, a song sequence with the lines "Ore oru Rathiriku vachen Kacheri..", which was shot at a set made to look like a very big Dhabba. This song features Ramba's thunderous dance along with 600 support actors and 100 group dancers. This song is said to draw the crowd for the movie.

Other specialties of the film are, a new villain by name Lambart is introduced to Tamil cinema through this film. Other than that, 50 more local villain's are also there in the film. T V actress Pooja turns out to be another Villain (Villi) in the film.

This happens to be the twenty third film for Music director S A Rajkumar under the Super good films banner.

Sri Mahesh is the director of the film. He also takes care of the dialogue and the screenplays.

Karthik Raja doubles up as a camera man for the film.
