“Adhu” – Evil Dead-III It's been a long time since a horror movie has come out in Tamil. When romantic and action movies are the present trends, director Ramesh Krishnan is busy shooting a horror film “Adhu”. The highlight of the movie is actress Sneha, who plays the role of a blind woman.

“It's a heroine-oriented
subject and Sneha, known for her acting prowess, was our automatic choice,” says
Ramesh.
“I want to break the present trend and make a mark in my debut venture itself, the director says and adds; I have neither used a ghost wearing a white sari nor a burial ground sequence for the film. It's an attempt to evoke fear through visuals and graphics.'” The movie is about a blind woman (Sneha), who gets an eye transplanted from a dead woman. Her troubles start here. Shanmugarajan, who played the role of Peikaman in Virumaandi is also in the cast. |
