Experienced malayalam actor O.Madhavan passed away

The prominent Malayalam actor O.Madhavan passed away on Friday morning in a private hospital in Cochin. He was 82. At present he is accompanied by his wife Vijayakumari, two daughters, and his only son Mukesh, who is also an actor.

Hailing from Kollam, Madhavan has acted more than 8000 plays conducted by Kerala People’s Arts Club (KPAC) and also in several films.
In 1940’s he was a Congress worker and he entered the film industry in 1950’s and turned out to be successful. Also, he was a key factor in the formation of KPAC and he continued to be the secretary for long time. He won the state award for the best actor in the year in the year 2000, for the movie 'Sayanam'.
His funeral will take place in Kollam, his native place. Let us pray God for his soul to rest peacefully!
