Nanda, Diya and Manivannan form the main cast of a new film called Kodambakkam. Ceylon Manohar, who sang that popular song of the 1970s, Surangani, has rendered a song in this film. Further, there will be seven Hindi songs in the film. This is a new experiment in the history of Tamil cinema. Shankar Mahadevan has written a song praising the vitality of the film industry. John Gift who sang Lajjavatiye has also crooned a number.
