Thankar is producing, directing and playing the lead in Chidambarathil Oru Appasamy. Shooting for the film is over and dubbing schedule is on at Karthik Garden in Chennai. After this, Ilayaraja will take over for rerecording. However, the pity is despite the richness of musical content and the expensive filming of the songs, the audio rights have been sold for a pittance of only Rs. 3 lakhs.
