A healthy trend in Tamil cinema has been the arrival of several young directors who had worked as associates under giants like Shankar, Mani Ratnam, K.S. Ravikumar and so on. Two people who come to mind immediately are Balaji Sakhthivel and Ho Chi Min. Both have worked as Shankar’s associates. While Balaji directed the super hit Kaadhal which was produced by Shankar, Ho Chi Min has just released February 14. Balaji will work in Shankar’s next venture as well. Besides these two, Selvendiran who is also from the Shankar camp will be wielding the megaphone for the Rambha comeback Oru Kadhalan Oru Kadhali. Well, we are sure that the three will make their master feel proud.
