He enthralled us with his unique style of story-telling where the plot would be unraveled in neat steps with convincing twists. His use of comedy and romance blended nicely with the script and there were no out-of-turn item numbers. We do not get directors or screenplay writers like him now a days. After a long break, he directed Chokkathangam but it did not do well. So, he turned to television. Now, again he is back acting in Yamirukka Bayamen, which is directed by C. Ranganathan. Jai, who played Vijay’s younger brother in Bagavathi, is the other hero. Jai is music director Deva’s nephew. The heroine is a debutante and not much has been given out about her. C. Ranganathan had earlier directed Vijay in Coimbator Mappille. Srikanth Deva is the music director for this film. The formal Pooja and the first day shooting took place today at AVM Studios. Parthiban and S.A. Chandrasekhar participated and extended their good wishes to the film’s team. Bhagyaraj has also planned to launch his daughter as a heroine through the film Parijatham. There was a long search for the hero and now it has been announced that it will be Prithviraj, who played the villain in Kana Kandein.
