  Badsha stikes Again

Rajinikanth’s Badsha was a watershed film as far as the Tamil industry is concerned. It reinvented the MGR image of the do-gooder from a humble background thrashing seemingly impenetrable barriers. Suresh Krishna was the director of this film. The film was dubbed in Telugu where it did well. The Kannada version had Vishnuvardhan in the lead and grossed good revenue. Now, the film will be remade in Bangla with Mithun Chakraborthy as the Badsha. Hope the has-been poor man’s Amitabh brings some magic to the role.
