How was the entire experience of
doing Chandramukhi?
Every time I see my films for
the first time I get the feeling
that I could have done much better.
But this was not the feeling when
I saw Chandramukhi for the first
time. I had then the movie just
as I wanted it... Rajini sir told
me that ‘you have taken
as you have told the script to
me’. Now the film is running
successfully in all countries.
Is there any connection
between your previous 49 films
and this 50th film?
All my films are my 1st film.
What ever effort I had given for
my 49 films, it’s the same
effort in Chandramukhi. I give
great importance to the storyline.
You have never worked
with Kamal. Why?
When Sivaji productions did
Kalaingyan and when AVM did Sethupathi
IPS there was a talk of us working
together. But somehow it never,
materialized.
Has Rajini told you anything
about his next project?
When Rajini was seeing the songs
of Chandramukhi, I told him that,
'you should do at least 1 film
every year’. He promised
me he would work on it.
