An exclusive interview with Lara Datta, when she was here in Chennai.

Question: People say that you are sexy. But in reality you look like a family girl...

Lara Datta: Frankly speaking, my fans expect glamour from me so I give them what they want from me.

Question: During your free time what do you do?

Lara Datta: Early morning, I wake up and practice kathak. I also do some physical exercises.

Question: Which people do you like the most in your life?

Lara Datta: I would always like to move with a person who has lots of worldly knowledge.

Question: Who do you like most in your family?

Lara Datta: I like my father the most in my family.

Question: Have you faced difficulties in your life?

Lara Datta: Yes. I have faced lot of difficulties in my life. When I go out, many people try to talk to me. I would always respond by smiling at them.

Question: Have you ever wept for anything?

Lara Datta: I wept on seeing the movie “Passion of the Jesus Christ”.

Question: Do you believe in ghosts?

Lara Datta: Yes. I have seen them in my house. They are my nephew and niece (who are my sister’s children)

Question: What kind of things do you buy often?

Lara Datta: Quite often I buy lots of shoes of various models. I would love to wear different pair of slippers every week.

Question: Have you ever acted in real life?

Lara Datta: Not at all. I have never acted in real life or cheated anyone.

Question: Have you lost anything by acting in films?

Lara Datta: Nowadays I am not able to spend much time with my parents and sisters due to the busy schedule in films. I think this is the only thing that I have lost by acting in films.

Question: Is there any unrevealed facts about you which you would like to share with us?

Lara Datta: I am a good cook and I know Bharatha Natiyam very well. I love to go to forests to hunt tigers.

Question: What is your strength?

Lara Datta: My strength is my self-confidence.

Lara Datta: Sex is a must for everyone on this earth.
