sum up the season of multi-starrers, Farah
Khan is ready with her latest movie Tees
Maar Khan. With a power-filled cast, which
includes Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif and
Akshaye Khanna among others, the TMK team
has already set the Christmas bells ringing.

The trailers and promos of the movie suggest that TMK
would be a laugh riot. Tees Maar Khan is a great criminal
who is fearless and shameless. He and his team have
managed to con and cheat people at will and have kept
cops all over the world on their toes. It is one fine
day that a gang of international antique smugglers give
him his toughest assignment: Steal antiques worth 500
crores from a moving train. Will Tees Maar Khan achieve
this never-done-before feat? Wait for two more days
before you see it yourself on the silver screen.
Taking about the moving train, the crew, with the help
of production designer Sabu Cyril, built an entire train
and a track for about 500 metres was laid at a cost
of Rs. 75 lakhs to shoot the climax sequences. Farah
Khan is known for her flamboyant style of filmmaking.
And TMK would stand no different, according to sources.
Farah Khan has directed TMK after a gap of three years.
Her last movie was Om Shanthi Om, which was released
in the year 2007. She also gave birth to triplets in
2008.
Music has always played an important part in Farah Khan's
movies. Tees Maar Khan also has some nice music from
Farah's husband Shirish Kunder. The music has had mass
appeal with the song 'Sheila Ki Jawani' topping the
charts. Shirish Kunder has also penned the lyrics with
musician Vishal. TMK has been produced by Akshay Kumar's
wife Twinkle Khanna, Shirish Kunder and Ronnie Screwvala
for UTV pictures.
Akshay Kumar can be seen after his Diwali release Action
Replayy. Having proved his histrionics is movies like
Hera Pheri, Akshay is out again to tickle the funny
bone. Katrina will be seen in a lighter role after her
recent movie Rajneeti. Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif
have proved their on-screen chemistry in their earlier
movies Welcome and Singg is Kingg. Also in the movie
is Akshaye Khanna, who will appear in a cameo role.
It is also told that Salman Khan and Anil Kapoor will
make special appearances in the film.
With the Christmas bells ringing, will Tees Maar Khan
set the Bollywood cash registers ringing? That's one
question, which will be answered this weekend. |
