There was widespread rumour that Income Tax authorities had conducted a raid at Superstar Rajinikanth’s house at Poes Garden. Several satellite TV channels also carried the news. As a result, there was a posse of mediapersons outside his house. However, the rumour was scotched when higher authorities were contacted for confirmation.
