Lohitadas is a leading director in Malayalam with movies like Kamaldalam ,Amaram, Kireetam, Mrigaya, Bharatam, His Highness Abdullah to his credit. He has shot award-winning performances by superstars Mamooty and Mohan lal. He won an award with his debut movie, Bhoothakannadi and has 56 movies to his credit. He has also introduced several stars like Kala bhavan Mani, Samyuktha Varma, Manju Warrier, Meera Jasmine, Dileep, Kaveri and others. His latest movie starring Meera Jasmine, Kasthuri Maan won more than 15 awards. Now the film is being remade in Tamil in the same name with Meera Jasmine and Prasanna.
