My family is of an orthodox type. Eventhough I am an actress, my dad has framed certain rules which I should always follow. I am following it from my first film till now. I have never broken those rules even once.

I have left the decision about my marriage to my parents who have brought me into this world. I feel that there is no hurry for that. I have to achieve a lot before my marriage. I have to do something for this Tamil cine field which has made me this much popular.

This year’s first film of mine is “Ayutham”. In some journals, they have written that I have acted glamorously in this film. I have acted without breaking my rules. But it is not so. Some say that my smile has lot of glamour. Some say that glamour is possible only by exposing. I don’t agree with this. Indian culture should not be spoilt in any case. If a kissing scene is needed then there is nothing wrong. But it should not be added just to increase the glamour part in a film.
