Murali is seen in Alari, which is another name for the Sun God. He plays a protagonist who has the qualities of wisdom, warmth and rage like the life-giver. His role is that of a man who becomes a legend in his lifetime. The film also has Vadivelu, Mansuralikhan, Ponnambalam, Lavanya, Kanthimathi and others. The heroine will be a newcomer from Mumbai. Music is by Pradeep Ravi and cinematography by Uday Shankar. Produced by C.V. Natarajan and Jambu raja for Jayamarudhu Films, story, screenplay, dialogues and direction by the twins Ravi-Raja.
