The Anniyan factor:

In a fight scene for the Vikram-Sadha starrer, Anniyan, 120 still cameras have been used by director Shankar. This is a record for any Tamil movie.


Sukumar on a roll:

Kadhal made with a shoe-string budget of 75 lakhs made business worth 9 crores. Despite Pongal releases, the distributors of Kadhal are reporting good returns. Sukumar, who played companion to Bharat the hero, has 12 films on hand, all because of Kadhal’s success.
