Chandramukhi was made in Kannada also and directed by P.Vasu. The collections in Kannada stand at Rs. 30 crores which far exceeds the production cost of Rs. 2 crores. In Tamil also, it is running to packed houses past 50 days and so the distributors of the Tamil version expect the collection to be more than for Kannada.
