Actor Parthiban and actress Kaveri star in the film Kannadi Pookkal, a remake from a Malayalam film, directed by Shahjahan. Parthiban plays a Censor Board official in this movie. The lovable old time villain M.N.Nambiar plays a Judge. Parthiban has donned the role of a woman for one scene in this movie as well. This is the first time ever in his career, the actor stars in such a role.
