The next project of Cheran Touring Talkies has been renamed Thavamai Thavamirundhu. Gopika who played opposite Cheran in Autograph was approached again for this movie, but she politely refused the offer pointing to her other already commited movies like Kana kanden, Thotti Jaya and Ponniyin Selvan.

Although the hunt for an alternative heroine is on, Cheran is said to be upset at his protégé’s attitude.
