Tamil Thirai seems to be jinxed. After several false starts, this TV channel of Tamil film producer’ syndicate was touted to commence from the Tamil New year this year, April 14. It did not come through that day and the new date of inauguration is slated for May 6 at Chennai Trade Center, Nandambakkam near Chennai. Director Bharathirajaa will formally launch the channel. The programs will be broadcast from the Thai capital, Bangkok.
