No one can or will forget the Tsunami, which swept hundreds and thousands of people into the sea. Now every film production concern is very keen to film the toils of Tsunami as a story in their respective films.

While most of them wanted to book their film title as Tsunami, It is Director Manobala who won the contest. He was successful in booking the title right before any other can even think about it.

Though he won the title, a private movie production concern called Success Movie Makers are already on their way of producing a movie based on the Tsunami tragedy. The title for that movie has been named as December – 26. The production crew believes that the day of the mass incident would itself can bring forth the thoughts of that incident in the peoples heart.

The shooting for the film is scheduled in and around Chennai, Rameshwaram, Mahabalipuram, Kadalur etc..

The film only consists of two characters and the rest of the film is build around the Tsunami destruction scenes and destructed places.

The director of the movie is Manivasagan who is currently involved in directing tele – serials. He also takes care of the story and screenplay of the film. Manimaran, who got the best editor award for a documentary in Switzerland and Sreenivas are jointly producing the film.

The film will be completed within 15 days and screened on the theaters by the end of February.
