Majid directed Vijay in Tamizhan. His forthcoming film, Thunichal has Arunkumar and Siva in the lead. Munjal and Payal are the leading ladies. The high point of this film is it has two different stories, one in each half. Remember KB’s Oru veedu iru vaasal or the more recent 12B? Premji, Gangei Amaran’s younger son is the music director for this film. In all he has scored 7 songs of which 6 have been shot in Chennai, Pondy and Vizag. One song has been shot abroad. A duet running as Kattikkalama, Muttikkalama has been rendered by Karunas and his wife, Grace. Kapilan, Yugabarathi and Pa. Vijay have written the lyrics. Suresh Urs is the editor and art direction is by Shankar. Sivashankar and Mahendran are the dance masters while dialogues are by Majid himself. Kalidas is the producer of the film.
