S.J.Surya’s next film, BF was facing
some problems from the political side. Dr.Ramadass,
leader of P.M.K party, doesn’t allow any
films to have an English title. But, Surya has
named his film as BF which denotes Best
Friend.
When asked to S.J.Surya whether he was asked
by Dr,Ramadass to change the name of the film,
he said that he did receive a call from the
office of Dr.Ramadass. The personal assistant
of Ramadass has asked Surya to change the name
of the film.
But Surya has told him, that the film is advertised
all over the world as BF and that it is impossible
to change the title of the film. S.J.Surya has
requested Ramadass to allow this film to have
an English title and he has promised that his
films will never carry an English title in the
future. Dr.Ramadass has obliged and he has allowed
the film BF, to have an English title.
